Writing a Small Poem
What is the story? When my children were young, they drove toy cars on the floor, but when they got older, they wanted to drive real cars. To get a driver’s license, they both needed 100 hours of driving practice, so we spent a LOT of time in the car — and that inspired the 80 word poem that became the Red Light, Green Light picture book.
