Writing a Small Poem
What is the story? Here is another haiku that I wrote for National Poetry Month in 2012. It doesn’t feel like eleven years have passed since I wrote this, but it has. That’s my TIME story.

That is a good question, a worth a poem. I like this prompt. It seems days get shorter overall lately. 🙂

How does that hour or two I
lie awake during the night
seem like half a day or more?

I don’t have an answer! I wish I did. It’s been a long winter, with no spring. But time is flying and before we know it, fall will be here! (I seriously hope not). The ice on our lake just receded today!
